Seems to me like he didn’t want to play for Torts. He probably was excited he got drafted there at first but then Torts and the usual bullshit with players and talking about old style hockey, Kevin Hayes situation as well, probably made him think twice.
But who cares now? Hope Jamie does well over there

I’m glad he’s excited about signing to the Ducks because a big part of the worry with the JD trade was that he wasn’t going to sign with them. (I wasn’t sure if that was a guarantee or if it was 100% confirmed he was going to sign with us)
