There’s not enough clips of this out there. The dude just does not stop & he plays smart taking the puck to the net.
Nearly all wins (that I recall as of late) have been from grinding it out with a more North South game. The year of the umbrella passing awaiting for the perfect shot is over, these teams have seen too much of us.

I didn’t realize until after the game but Hagel was absolutely MUGGED on that OT assist. Look at the replay. PLD was holding him for dear life.
Hagel is an absolute animal.
When you drive to the net stuff can happen. The constant curl up by the bolts upon zone entry has become too routine.
