Big night for Joshua Roy who after finding out he was not selected to the AHL All Stars, picked up 2 goals and 1 assist plus he was involved in another goal as he now has 30 points in 33 games picking up 12 points in the last 12 games. The top pairing of Arber Xhekaj and Logan Mailloux was solid again as Mailloux fresh off being named to the AHL All Stars. Jared Davidson with 3 points in the last 3 games since returning to the lineup.
Laval has been on a roll of late ever since Xhekaj has been sent down it’s really started to take shape so the OT loss stings but they picked up 5 out of 6 in this 3 game series vs Utica who they are fighting for a playoff spot with.

Sooooo many poor decisions with their passes and quite sloppy in their own end.Spot duty a bit of good hockey here and there doesn't cut it to be a good team you need to play responsible.
Just like RHP was under appreciated on the Habs Lias Andersson is arguably the most responsible and smartest player on Laval.A lot of chances to score but very poor finish low quality shots ends up a struggling team to win games.
In OT Kidney falls down trying to protect the puck that is why all these small guys have no future in MTL they are too weak.Roy is definitely one of the few scorers Gignac is a nice skater IDK if MTL could find a home for him he would need to shore up his two way play to maybe become a solid skater on the 3rd or 4th line.
Mailloux showed why he is a bit over rated on that one goal he was very slow of foot so when he loses the puck he is left in the dust.
