A broken ankle, believe it or not, is actually a favorable diagnosis. Of course we would hope it’s just a tweak and he could be back in a game or two, but complete breaks are better than high ankle sprains in a lot of cases because they can be surgically repaired, where as sprains can just be a lot of “wait and see”.
Sucks to see both guys out. I think with the recent trade, my head has already been looking forward to next season, but yea. I guess Celebrini is back on the table?
Z will work on upper body and Minty lower body i guess. 2 months? April gon be exciting with cutter joining. Delayed gratification. Absence makes the heart grow fonder.
Could see Verbeek utilizing this as an opportunity to take on a bad contract but also bring in some roster help at the same time. Or maybe we’ll see some callups we weren’t expecting yet.

This isn’t a horrible thing. I mean, yeah breaking his ankle is rough but us losing is better in the long run. What’s the point of winning when we 100% won’t make the playoffs and it only worsens our draft position.
