To inform the people here that don't know rules, the play was on-side because Mcdavid drags his right skate on the blue line during the delayed offside call while waiting for his teammate to clear the zone – and he also avoids touching the puck entirely in order to not take possession until his teammate clears the zone. Once they do, he then moves his skate over the line and then touches the puck for possession.
I think this McDavid kid is gonna be pretty good.

Stop with all the offside comments. Please. Learn the rules . The puck clearly deflects off the wings player before it goes back over blueline. Therefore not offside. Pretty simple.
