We just witnessed NHL history

Elias Pettersson scored a highlight reel goal from below the goal line, taking it back and scoring the game winning goal against the New York Rangers in what wound up being a 4 point night for Petrersson in a 6-3 win. But just 2 nights prior in New Jersey after getting it started just 41 seconds into the 2nd, it was early in the 3rd, scoring the 5th of that game for the Canucks, his 2nd of the night, where he made it look easy to make it a it 5-2 game in what wound up being the game winning goal of that game. And finally, just this past Tuesday, scoring another pretty one against the New York Islanders in what once again, wound up being the game winning goal in a 5-2 win, Elias Petterrsson came into tonights matchup against the Pittsburgh Penguins with the opportunity to do something no one had ever done in NHL history. Score 4 game-winning goals in four straight road games. In what was a great game with big saves, JT Miller and Sidney Crosby arguing with each other and a thrilling overtime, I cover it all in todays NHL hockey video!

  1. Elias Pettersson became the first player in NHL history to score the game-winning goal in four straight road games tonight!

  2. Canucks were 24-0-0 when leading after 2. Pens was the first to gain a point from this streak, and almost snapped it in dramatic comeback fashion too. The game could go either way. Sid is still Sid at 36 is remarkable. Another note is some of the builders of Penguins Stanley Cups are with the Canucks.

  3. I cheer for the Canucks and I honestly think that hit on smith should have been a penalty. His back was turned the entire time and the hit was directly to the numbers, causing injury. Should have at the minimum been a 2 minute penalty and at most a game misconduct. Hopefully the dudes alright

  4. All these wins for the canocups only to be Eliminated in playoffs buy the second round if not first.. terrible team don’t care what the record is none of it is going to matter.

  5. I've been a diehard Canucks fan since their beginning in 1970 and have prayed to see them win The Cup at least once in my lifetime. Maybe, just maybe, this is the year!

  6. Honestly if we weren’t play cry baby Crosby and the pussy penguins, this game could have easily gotten out of hand. Stop putting the whistle’s away refs

  7. so who can tell me the short story of which 'history' we just witnessed. was it an nhl record? or just more hyperbole from this channel? these vids should be 3-4minutes max

  8. Canucks fan but I got to say I was really impressed with the Pittsburgh fan base. The atmosphere in the building was more like a playoff game than a Thursday night in January. I really think the crowd helped will them to that last goal.

  9. clickbait bs. "changing hockey history"….gezuz k. the other day a player scored at precisely 1:21:33pm on a saturday from the left hashmarks while on the road in the second of a b2b wearing the number 34 while chewing gum! a first! that fk'er changed hockey history!!
