Look, I like fan participation as much as the next guy… but all-star selections are absolutely meaningless. The fact that every team gets an all-star and that fans can vote in anyone regardless of performance makes the ASG and AS nomination absolutely worthless. If I were a player that didn't deserve the nod and got one, it would be embarrassing.
Also, I love the Drouin love. Early in the year, he was great with the puck on his stick, but no one trusted him to win a puck battle, forecheck or drive possession and I can't help but feel Mac has been an extremely positive influence. I think the competitiveness has rubbed off or just clicked in terms of what it takes to succeed. You love to see it.
Last time I watched the Avs they played a good all around game offense defense goaltending against Las Vegas Knights Jared Bednar a great coach they have a deep team keep on winning still need a back up goalie

I actually think the Avs can run with Colton at 2C and that he’ll be quite successful playing alongside Lehky (soon) and Nuke. Biggest weakness IMO is RJ as no matter what line you throw him on, he’s just too slow and clunky and throws off the flow and his only real value appears to be on draws. Actually had one of his better games last night but more often than not, he is just unnoticeable out there. Still like what the lines look like once Lehky returns and obviously Nuke and Wood who are both just out sick so no real concerns there.
