Keefe actually seems to be waking up and getting harder on his team finally. That’s what you wanna see from a coach taking accountability instead of his same old blah blah we need to be better.
3rd straight loss here we come!! Keefe is an awful coach. Man is so clueless, you can talk about his regular season wins, but any assistant coach, team nutritionist or equipment manager in any hockey team could and would do the same, with more playoff hockey wins. So much talent, no NHL caliber coach. Might as well have the Zamboni drive coach this team. Same qualification.
Oh and Marner? What a joke!! He can’t play against tough hockey teams. His been exposed the last 7 yrs. He loves to get his cookies and donuts against weaker opponents and relies solely on Matthews and the PP to get him going. Played like a super star against the Shark and the same old choke artist against the Avs as predicted. Clown, turnover machine mentally weak.
Has he ever scored a goal that matters? Anyone? What year? Against who? Anyone? Has he done anything worth mentioning in the last 7 years in the playoffs outside his secondary assist? A goal of the skate or defensemen?
Another classic last night from the Magician. No one has perfected the disappearing act quite like Mitch Marner when it comes to meaningful hockey game. Too bad we only the Sharks and the Ducks twice. Best part? Keefe rewards him with minutes and playing time with AM. Horrible player, rather be a goof ball than a leader. Just leads the team in softness, secondary apple and muffin goals.
Off the pads Marner should be his name.

The Detroit Red Wings play a lot dirtier than the Avs do. With the cross check that Austin took last night, he could be hurt. This won’t help us at all tonight, either. I am also tired of seeing post game videos where Mitch Marner looks sour and is petulant with media. He is paid an enormous sum of money and they did not win last night. The least MM could do is man up and own it. The Top 4 did not get it done last night. We all know this. Max, on the other hand, kept trying last night and it showed in his post game results. He was in the + and the Top 4 were in the -. Noah Gregor also shone very brightly last night and don’t think Coach Bednar did not notice. Bednar likes his team to skate fast and Noah skates like the wind. The Leafs have to have the will to win and last night, they blew another three goal lead. I am happy to hear that Ilya Samsonov will be back in the net tonight. Good Luck tonight guys, it’ll be another challenging game. Dirtier too.
This has to be the last shot for samsonov. If he has a stinker again i dont think they can keep him around
So like I said yesterday defense would be the difference one way or another, and it was. Today it will be about getting a save, Sammy against Reimer I'm expecting 7-6 hope you prove me wrong, defense always wins.

Leafs gotta start protecting leads and stop losing to bottom feeders. Last night loss is hard to take, but even harder when you realize how many points Leafs have let go against bottom teams. Shouldn't have lost against Colorado.

I think the room needs a coach that demands performance. Keefe doesn't seem to have it in him. The players seem to know there is no answering to anyone if they take a night off. Time for a change?
This is a must win for sure look at the standings its a must win yesterday was a must win too and they lost if they keep playing like this no playoffs
