  1. lol, just wait till asian catch up to this game. The mechanics of this game is more closer to ping pong than tennis, I think we would soon see asians players on top.

  2. Can anyone tell me why the referees in Pickleball tournaments call the scores so aggressively? 🙂

  3. QD will find his game more formidable if they someday bring about clay court pickleball.

  4. Duong needs to restring his paddle w a higher tension and then more if his shots will land inside the court.

  5. 00:18 ball was in…..called out by ben johns. not trusting ben's line calls anymore. i always questioned some of his lines calls. you can see duong even puzzled by the call

  6. Pickleball is like tetherball… zero skill needed and only fun at middle school recess. What a lame game LOLLLL

  7. Why is this a big deal? Loopy swings are terrible for pickleball, yawn. Lots of really fast players out there by the dozens.

  8. The little guy was trying too hard, and maybe got wrapped up in who he was playing! He needs to relax and slow his game down.

  9. duong has a paddle background, not a pickle background, so that's why he plays the way he does

  10. Whoever made the decision to speed up the video made a big mistake. So deceptive to the game, if you are trying to make the game look faster and more appealing, screw you, you just embarrassed the name of pickleball even more. And this is coming from a super fan of pickleball.

  11. All the pickleball elitism is so cringe. Don’t become the same people that make the tennis community so insufferable

  12. I think he converts too much of his stroke energy into spin. Makes it slower, higher and floats a little longer. But it’s pretty

  13. Its seems Duong looks at his coach after every shot…
The day he starts playing on his own may be there will be better results

At the moment its no contest with @benjohns

  14. Everyone here in the comments hating on the kids strokes must have made the semis of a pro tournament to play against Ben johns 😂

  15. It's QD's paddle. Been there, done that. BJ's paddle outranks QD's. QD's is really fun to play with. It sings when it hits, and when it hits, it goes strong like tennis. Now, BJ's paddle to QD's is like scissor to paper; its surface neutralizes all strong shots; its weight gives more control and backbone. In other words, in the game of cardio, QD's stamina got drained rapidly.

On the other hands, BJ clearly overwhelms QD with his experience and physique, I mean look at that man's calves; they are double sized than QD's. Two pluses.

I personally find the difference of the paddles that can make a great gap of experience quite controversial; however, that's the game. Obviously, hate the players, not the game

  16. Duong style is more fitting for tennis…. he needs to change his style or new paddle that can generate more speed/power

  17. Duong is exerting way too much energy and he’s not beating Johns as a banger. Still impressive that he’s where he’s at at such a young age though.
