  1. you would think a team with 5 players going to the all stars would win it in OT… but considering this was a long road trip especially heading into colombus last minute, really impressive they managed to pick up a point.

  2. Plenty of excuses Canucks could use: last game of a long road trip, getting in late due to weather ,back up goalie etc but they battled for a point and we'll just forget about this one and move on to the next. gg

  3. Canucks fan here. This game, we were off to a good start at the first period, and then as the game progress, we started falling. Had if they won against the Blue Jackets, this would've been icing on the cake as we would've had the six game win streak to end it all. We fought until the bitter end at the shootout.

This was one hell of a road trip we had. 5-1-1 is really impressive. And we're still on top of the league.

Canucks, go rest in Vancouver. You've earned it. Your fans will be proud of you by the time you get to Rogers Arena on January 18th.

  4. As a former goalie, I don't understand while players skate in so slow on shootouts. Come in fast and force us to move, that's when we open up our body allowing holes to shoot through.

  6. I feel like many Vancouver fans where disappointed this wasn't an easy win, which is understandable. Still though, CBJ fought well and utlilized their guys in a good way. Everything gets difficult when there's a russian tank planted infront of your goalie. I couldn't see DeSmith behind Voronkov at all. Marchenko feels like a great player developing in the right direction too.

  7. Hey guys! I’m an extreme casual when it comes to NHL, I only started watching to support my local team. Can someone educate me and let me know why Demko was not played today?

  8. DeSmith played well, but he let in a bad goal to tie the game. Canucks looked tired by the 2nd and 3rd period. Salvaged a point so that’s good. I hope these guys get some sleep because they deserve it. 12-14 points on the road trip is amazing.

  9. Merzlikins was the difference in this game. Shutting the door on the last 30 seconds of the 1st was crucial to keep Columbus from falling 2 goals down. Had the Canucks scored there, chances were better for them to carry a lead into the 3rd (and we know how the Canucks have done this year carrying a lead into the 3rd).

  10. Хороший хоккей от обеих команд.
Косатки, досадно конечно что проиграли по буллитам, но это хоккей.
Ванкувер, достойная серия игр на выезде!!!!!
    Ждем побед на домашней арене!!!!

  11. The Canucks were almost trapped in Buffalo from the snow, barely getting any rest and having to play a matinee game at 10am. They managed to get a point from this after a long road trip. I'll take it. I'm proud of them.

  12. This was the worst schedule I’ve ever seen. Let’s play a game at 10 on the morning where one of the teams has a Holliday and the other one doesn’t. Plus one of the teams getting plastered with horrible weather. Makes sense.
