Slaf improving so quickly is huge, he has good hockey sense and had gone from chasing the game to being in the right place to tough the puck both offensively and defensively.
He can improve his in tight stick work and his shot, but the other piece is it is often talked about that he is on the ice after practice is finished.
This is huge for his ability to improve.

I remember mentioning last year that it felt like Slaf was learning exponentially from game to game, crazy that he’s kept that going since then.
