The Montreal Canadiens played tonight at home in the Bell Centre against the visiting Edmonton Oilers and would end up losing by a final score of 2-1 in overtime. In the 1st period Cole Caufield would open the scoring just a minute and a half into the game for the 1-0 Canadiens lead. In the 2nd period there would no goal scoring. In the 3rd period Leon Draisaitl would score a questionable goal to tie the game up at 1-1. In overtime Evan Bouchard would score a goal on a terrible power-play opportunity to win the game for the Oilers and give them a highly questionable 10-game winning streak for the first time in franchise history. With this loss the Montreal Canadiens are now 17-18-7 with 41 points for 6th in the Atlantic Division.

Clear high stick… How's that refs "f*cking" habs? Also if you actually watch oilers games, refs totally "f" oilers continually . Rare night that refs sided on oilers all night…. I really loved the habs fans at bell center. Really loud … True fans.

Questionable goal?
Don’t start talking about refs Every single Canadian team gets fucked over by refs and not gonna lie I never knew that Montreal fans had no eyes and couldn’t see because your player in ot went for the stick lift and just sticked him in the face. You can even see it on review of his stick going up to nurses face. They’re not gonna just let it go because it’s obvious right in the middle of the ice and nurse has possession. Just because you didn’t get a call in regulation doesn’t mean that because your player decided to hit nurse in the face that you get away with it. It was clear as day highstick.
