    I feel like Vancouver, Winnipeg, New York, and Boston at bare minimum had ~50% chance of their rosters playing decently, Torts in Philly is the only one who turned a legitimately bad roster into a winning team

    Assuming we finish the season in the top 3, it’s Tocchet’s trophy to lose. For fun, let’s see how this stacks up against the 2011 Canucks. That year, they took home 4 trophies:

    * Art Ross
    * Ted Lindsay
    * Selke
    * Jennings

    This year, Hughes has a legit shot at Norris, Demko with Vezina. Wonder if we’ll have any surprises for Hart consideration on the Canucks. The Canucks did a complete 180 from last year. Awards are coming, but I only want *one*.

    Montgomery? Why? He’s coaching a Boston team that just refuses to die and have been competitive since 2011.

  4. Any news on GM of the Year? I feel like Alvin should be in that conversation.

  5. 1 current coach and 1 ex-Canucks coach (that we’d like to forget) and 1 ex-Canucks assistant coach

    I have no idea why Tocchet is such a favourite over Bowness, they’re both surprise teams at the top of the league and Winnipeg has a better record

    Only one trophy that matters, and it’s not the Jack Adams.
