In this edition of Locked on Capitals Dan talks about the Caps losing in the second game of the back to back with the New York Rangers. The rangers scored early in the game and the Capitals were on their heels trying to claw their way back into the game. Charlie Lindgren played well in his back to back starts against the Rangers. He didn’t get the result that he was looking for as TJ Oshie was the only Capitals that was able to find the back of the net. The Caps spent a lot of time on the PK and weren’t able to rally like they did on Saturday.

I think really the Caps played SOLID in the 2nd and 3rd periods, and could easily have won, had the Rangers not got that quick forst goal, and late in the period second goal.
At least Carbery finally bit the bullet and made Lindgren the Clear starter. Kuemper has to start against Anaheim though. Can't burn Chuckie out
caps would get a mint for lindgren in a trade. he has been amazing.
funny since ovi was called out by carbary about a blown asignment that coat them a late goal, he hasnt played since. feels like playing hurt for this coach is not factored into carbary,s assessment, so stay out unless your ready.. we should have enough depth if we are a good team. not a bad view by carbary but a little soft for caps players culture , i guess toronto is leaked into carburys coaching. again i rather guys play healthy so assessments are accurate.,im very happy with carbury.
