Crazy how all the Leafs fans are surprised they lost against one of the hottest teams in the nhl right now! When the Oilers are banging on all cylinders ,they are hard to beat!
There is way too much positivity here, “we’re doing great” “we’ve been playing great hockey”. Like what. Are you delusional??? 5 wins in the last 14 is not great hockey, especially when those 5 wins 4 of them come against bottom feeders.
Highly entertaining game & the Leafs, for the 4th game in a row, beat themselves with coverage errors in the D-zone. The tying goal & winning goal the result of mistakes that shouldn't be happening by game 42. The inability to get basic clears at times is also infuriating. They squandered a number of prime scoring chances by hitting posts, sticks, legs etc. You're not going to win a lot of games scoring 2 goals. Bertuzzi should have 20 goals with the chances he's had this season, but once again missed by hitting the post with Skinner down & out, then missed the rebound of the post hit. Nylander has had a crap load of looks, but is hitting iron, other obstacles, or just narrowly missing the net. Officially a slump I guess.
I think that after two defeats from Vancouver and Winnipeg, Keefe will definitely be sent into retirement. With a game like today, Toronto won't even make the Stanley Cup playoffs.

Every time i hear this team postgame, I realizes they don't give a s**t about winning. They all think they played a great game wow!! That's something i expect from Chicago Blackhawks team or any rebuilding teams , Not a team with 4 guys making more than 11 millions per year. I don’t think it’s a coaching issue TBH I think it’s our d isn’t consistent nor top 4 quality other than Rielly and McCabe if that’s even a top 4 d man.
