Friedman has not played since Nov.30 / Zadorov trade.

Karlsson I believe was called up as the extra forward for the road trip

Not shocking that Friedman is sent down considering he hasn’t played in almost two months. Karlsson is an extra forward at this point too so he needs to be playing, Abby could definitely use him as well considering he’s one of their best players

My gut feeling is we’ll see them try to upgrade on Mark Friedman by the TDL.

Could see them adding someone like Zack Bogosian for more of a physical/veteran presence for the playoffs.

Friedman is a last resort lol. Hopefully it never comes to him or Irvin seeing regular minutes.

Did Friedman go on waivers yesterday? Or is he exempt?

  6. I thought a player needed to be injured to placed in the minors for conditioning without waivers

So for conditioning, Friedman does not require waivers?

  8. Thank you Friedman for your service. You were surprisingly solid when we needed you.

Never forget Burrows was traded for Dahlen who was then traded for Karlsson

  10. More time to work on his podcast, this is a good transfer.
