  1. Based on only one good season is a little risky. But 5 mil for 39 points is very good. Hopefully Garland plays in the top six so he can continue scoring. Pettersson, Miller, Horvat, Boeser, Pearson, Garland, Hoglander, and Pod? Canucks have too many top 6 guys now?

  2. I think the nucks have a great chance of making the playoffs especially being in the “weakest division” and could possibly go on a deep run if they can get some more quality D and a decent backup. Can’t wait to see what they do this season. Edit: I also like this contract and hopefully OEL can have a bounce back season.

  3. Still lots of question marks with the Canucks line up especially on RD. I am anxiously waiting to hear who the Canucks will bring in tomorrow to fill the void in the Right D position.

I agree with you, Benning does really with with all the RFA signings, his problem came in the UFA market. It could be most players don't want to come to a market like Vancouver and he has to overpay; or he just panic and really wants a guy and just decides to outbid everybody with both money and term.

I really disliked Benning's 2020 off season moves and my comments in every Canuck related place (reddit, youtube, CDC etc.) reflects that. I give him full props for this off season, correcting his past mistakes and willing to gamble and give this core a chance. A lot of people said the Canucks should've waited a year and those bad contracts like Beagle, Roussel and Eriksson will be off the books. However, I don't think the players in the locker room can stomach another year of losing. After the 2020 bubble run, the guys had high expectations and the off season moves last year really hit them hard and it seem to me created a lot of questions and frustations inside the room. I believe the team is back on the right track again this upcoming season and I am sure the players in the lockerroom are happy with the moves thare made this off season. I look forward to the 2021-22 season and looks like we can finally get back into the arena to watch live games again!

  4. Lego you are usually on top of your game so I can't believe you thought Armia was gonna leave Montreal. No way. He is way too important to that team. He solidifies everything they are about. Not to mention their GM loves overpaying bottom 6 forwards aka Shaw😂
