Avalanche beat Bruins 4-3 in shootout (SWEDISH)
The Colorado Avalanche win 4-3 in the shootout over the Boston Bruins at Ball Arena in Denver. In the first period: Boston is on the powerplay, and Brad Marchand scores, 1-0 Bruins. Assisted by David Pastrnak and Pavel Zacha. Then 5 minutes later, Mikko Rantanen scores, and it’s 1-1 after 1 period.
In the second period: Logan O’Connor steals the puck from Kevin Shattenkirk, and it’s 2-1 Colorado. Then John Beecher scores for Boston. And it’s 2-2. Then, Sam Malinski scores, and it’s 3-2 Colorado at the end of 2 periods. Then, 5:46 into the 3rd period, Brad Marchand scores, and it’s 3-3.
And we go to overtime. No goals were scored in overtime. So we go to a shootout. In the shootout, Valerie Nichushkin scored the only goal for the shootout and Colorado, and the Avalanche win 4-3 in the shootout over Boston.
