“Pricing and availability of DSG’s channels and content on Prime Video will be announced at a later date, so we don’t yet know if this new sports content will be included as part of a standard Amazon Prime subscription, or not.”
Expect to pay a monthly extra fee on top of your existing Prime membership fee to see any of it. Also curious if blackout restrictions apply.

“Prime Video will become Diamond’s primary partner through which customers will be able to purchase direct-to-consumer (DTC) access to stream local Diamond channels. Customers will be able to access all local DTC content, including live MLB, NBA and NHL games, and pre- and post-game programming, for the teams for which Diamond retains DTC rights, through Prime Video Channels”
So basically you can buy Bally through Prime Channels.

Are we sure they have the rights to the ducks? I saw an article about them only having broadcast rights and not streaming rights for a bunch of teams. For example with baseball this will only apply to five teams.

My question is this: if Bally Sports was in BK and was not bought out, the implication was that once the season was over the ESPN+ blackout would cease being in effect. Now that overlord Bezos has intervened, I assume the blackout of ESPN+ will remain. I wonder if this is the case…I certainly hope not.

This is still Ballys

If I don’t have to deal with the crappy Bally’s app, then this is a win

It’s still Bally. Just another way to buy it.
