bringing Arber back up now would be a knee jerk reaction.. 10000% keep him in Laval… develop… we have a very tough to play against d-pairing developing right now.. let them grow together and come up as a force to be reconned with in the very near future… as always great vid and GHG
I agree partly with the sentiment, but right now the habs prio seems to be to get the laval rocket into a deep playoff run to get some post season experience, and im not mad at it. In this case, i actually am fine with xhekaj staying down in laval. Its good for arber, its good for the rocket… And its doing wonders for logan mailloux, who seems to have found a natural pairing for his playstyle. I always thought guhle and mailloux would end up together in the long run, but looking at it now i wouldnt be mad if it ended up being the sheriff who inherits mailloux long term, as a 3rd pair.
That to me represented one of those games that as a fan you didn’t quite feel comfortable. Could they have been possibly looking ahead to the Boston game? We’ll not really know. But you’re right in saying the Sens do get up for the Habs. This was a game to somewhat be apprehensive about indeed. As for Arber staying in Laval , yes let him stay in a winning environment and continue to develop chemistry with the same defence partner.

I dont understand why Arber isnt called. He looks like a good Hockey player who can also drop the gloves. Keith Tkachuk on D?

Barron has been terrible.
Ottawa loves playing Montreal at home. They know they need to score early to get the crowd out of it.

Rourke Chartier is a Saskatoon boy – been kicking around the league a while so it is nice he has finally stuck somewhere.
