We’d be a lottery team without AM
Matthews came into this game, decided we weren’t going to lose and put this team on his back. It’s scary that even with that performance, the Leafs got lucky the Flames 4th goal was called back.
The question should be where would Auston Matthews be without the Leafs? Probably would have won a few cups with another team. Kadri got lucky when he got out of Toronto and won a cup in Colorado. & now Calgary loves him. The Leafs are wasting this talent with all their brain dead management lack of any acumen what so ever. The Leafs are wasting his time. My advise to Matthew is to give them a list of teams he wants to play for, demand a trade & get out of town now while you still have all those prime years ahead of you. This guy is phenomenal and the Leafs are wasting his time.

Leafs badly need bottom line scoring. Domi and Berttusi have to be more productive. Reilly has more goals from thr D position than both of them combined. JT has seen his best days. Put him in a package with Robertson and McMann for a number 3 D man .
