    I could see something similar to a Scott Laughton type contract. I believe his contract is 5x3M. What would the money look like on a long term extension? I cant believe it would be something huge.

    Mike, I've heard you say the Canucks schedule is tougher in the 2nd half twice. Can you explain? They have only 1 more E Conf. trip left all year. 12 of their final 17 games at home (8 of those 17 against non-playoff teams). I don't get your take.

    I'd like to see the Canucks pick up a two-way center for the second line and a right hand shot defenseman for the 2nd d-pair. A stay at home type with some physicality. Not sure it would be worth losing a Lekkerimaki, but maybe Willander. Good luck right

    Have a safe trip and hope your Daughter does well…Seems to me that Edmonton is out as it goes to goalie trades other than Campbell, but that's another story…What is the real story behind Kane in Detroit?     Lot of teams need help in net. Devils, Kings, Oilers, and the Avs seem to be the headliners. Devils need to just trade for Gibson, get it done, or kiss the playoffs goodbye. With Copley out, Kings can't be serious about Riddich, so they too have an urgent need. Talbot will cave eventually via burnout. Same goes for the Oilers and Skinner. Fleury would be in high demand, and likely to go to any one of the 4 teams mentioned.
