Was it Flynn or Therrien that wanted to trade Caufield for Wayne Simmonds?
Both Flynn and Therrien are pure gold when it comes to moronic comments
Both Flynn and therrien , made a couple of epic bad calls.
Flynn is so bad , he lost a job at BPM SPORTS . Hope he loose the one at RDS too
Slow news day lol
Pld git his money and said I don’t need to give 💯 anymore
I though the Caufield for Wayne Simmonds and Suzuki for Kerfoot were bad. No. Lets trade away probably our most valueable player with the highest celing for a 3rd line center. Whats next? McDavid for Chinakov?
Keep up the good work. Love your bideos
Norman Flynn is a funny guy when it comes to NHL talks. Dubois is not even close to the potential of Slaf.
When you know someone wants to go home, you know this guy is done. Habs already learned their first lesson from Drouin, not going to fall again on PLM.
Is this AI translation a bit janky? The last statement doesn’t make sense “ask slafkosky to get out of the woods”?? Was this originally something like, “ask Slafkosky for DuBois”? 😂😂😂.
Need to listen to the actual audio clip to know for sure
Alright alright, let me set things straight here. I'm French-Canadian (Quebec), lifetime Habs fan, I'm 35. First off, there's not a single idea about the NHL Trade Rumours that comes out of Norman Flynn mind in the last 15 years that made any sense, the guy's a complete joke… he's litteraly being used as an example on different hockey social media in comments, as a kind of thrash talk… like being compared to Norm is bad enough.. Second, the trade rumours about trading for PLD, I for one, never believed in em. And from the start, I was really hoping we would never get this guy, I had a feeling he's not good for chemistry, and an overrated player. Third, trading 1st overall pick for PLD ? are you kidding me ? Kent Hughes would've committed career suicide on the spot. Regardless of his state of development, Slaf is theoritically the face of the franchise for the next decade or so with Suzuki and Caufield. I was hoping for that lineup last year, and this year I'm being proved why I wanted it ! so yeah, basically, it wasn't reported anywhere on English media, because we all knew that Norman Flynn is just a joke at this point…
Armia , Dvorak , Gallagher for PLD and a First.
Thankfully Bergevin was no longer Habs GM when PLD was on the market. I don't doubt for a second that he would have made the Flynn trade proposal. MB coveted PLD from day one of the NHL entry draft. I was worried that he would have traded Caufield for dubois if the situation presented itself. I wouldn't hesitate to think that bergevin had a say in bringing dubois to LA.
LOL he was traded to the Kings but you still wished that you wanted to have him on the team !!!!! Imagine Fleury, Crosby, Dubois Zegras, Kilhorn, Nylander … + Slaughkovsky, Caufield that can't score on 5 on 5 (not that he takes so much place on the bench) you guys are going to need another bench to fit everybody for this AHL team LOL
PLD is wasted talent!
Watch out ! Du bois means of the wood in French so careful with translation from french to english.
Normand Flynn basically that to get a guy in the top 6 you need to give another guy in the top 6. So if someone want Slafkovskỳ for Pierre-Luc Dubois, one for one, he was ready to do it. For Him PLD is already Top 6 Ready and one day JS will maybe be in the top 6.
However, with the hindsight a year later, JS play on the first line with Suzuki and Caufield with the habs and PLD is not evenon the top 6 with L.A. Kings.
