  1. I was at the flyers game and the almost comeback in the 3rd period was some of the most exciting hockey I’ve seen live.

  2. That Avs/Flyers game was wild. got a little close in the 3rd period, but the Avs came away with it. Georgie stepped up when it mattered. Really only two goals on him.

  3. If the Flyers actually somehow make the playoffs, I want Ersson in net. Not that Hart’s been bad. He’s actually been pretty good this year. It’s just that he’s pretty much guaranteed to let in one BAD goal per game while Ersson is more likely to stand on his head if required. Hart never really has had the ability to steal a game throughout his career. He’s always seemed to play as well as the team in front of him is playing.

  4. Nathan McKinnon is looking like by far the most dominant player in the league right now. Nobody can stop this guy. He's getting the Art and possibly the Hart.

  5. MacKinnon proving why he's the 2nd best leader in all of hockey behind only Crosby. He had every opportunity to seal the deal and score himself, but gave it for LOC's hatty.

  6. Until that Laughton penalty, I thought we were going to even it back up. They played hard, think Hart could have played better. I think ersson erases the mistakes made by them. Colorado just made us pay for every mistake.

  7. I'm shocked that the Avs didn't lose in OT after being up 3 entering the 3rd. I'm way more confident in the Avs winning down 3 rather than up 3 at this point lol

  8. So many Hart haters out there and it's super frustrating. Hart is allowed to have a game go by (Errson had THREE stinkers at the beginning of the season). And yeah, Errson might have the hot hand right now, but Hart has been just as good all season and has playoff experience as well. We are totally fine with a 1 / 1A goalie situation right now, gotta trust both guys right now.

  9. Can't remember the last time Tampa won with Stammer, Kuch, Point, and Heddy pointless. Hope they are saving those points for the Wings tomorrow night. Loved that SHG by Motte and Jojo was solid. GO BOLTS!

  10. Good on 29 for giving up his own hatty to get the kid his first career hat trick. MacKinnon with 5 points today 🔥

  11. the score in the flyer-av's game is deceptive… flyers played a better game imo, except that Hart had an off night… give philly a mulligans on this one!

  12. My favorite part of the Sabres game was when they pulled the goalie and had Girgensons, Greenway and Benson on the ice lol, never seen a coach who puts guys on the ice who can’t score when you need a goal. I hope we get new coaches soon who will play Peterka and Quinn more icetime. Benson 4 goals on the season, now playing top line and first PP unit, guy is 5’3” and is pushed over easy, can’t even get shots on goal

  13. Hart is not playing with confidence, he looks small often. I was REALLY hoping he'd have a good game and stretch so we might see him sent somewhere for some useful assets down the road. I think he needs a new place to be. The Avs were clearly and by far the superior team. The Flyers kept it close. They would not have beaten Colorado if the refs hadn't been injecting themselves into the game randomly, but it might not have been an 80s night either. Makar slashes a stick clear out of the Flyers player's hands. I didn't see a thing. He probably didn't mean it.

I am not disappointed in the outcome as it was expected, just the defensive play and goaltending early leading to a lopsided score that would be difficult to overcome. It's a quick turnaround to Ottawa, hopefully they can look at stuff the day after and see what they could have done to be more competitive against Colorado when compared with their games against Vancouver, Dallas, etc.

And hopefully Tippett is ok. It would be awful not seeing him out there with as great as he's been all season.
