Corey Perry interview – good for him. Takes guts & courage to come forward 2 mos later – therapy alone is hard to commit to.

Figures…now I finally like the guy & wish him the best.

What I hate about not knowing what happened is that I don’t know whether I should be rooting for Perry or against him. Personally I’m a fan of him and so I want to be like, “Good on you for getting help and I hope you’re doing better.” But if he actually did something super fucked up, then I don’t want to be sitting here rooting for him.

This sucks. Guy never has to come forward, takes a two month vacation, signs with a Cup contender and leaves his bottom feeding team in the rear-view mirror. Why didn’t the Hawks just suspend him for two months and commit to partnering in his recovery? If he did something so terrible, why are the Oilers taking him on?

Obviously as a non-Oilers fan I’m pissed for lots of reasons but mostly I hate the virtue signalling and lack of accountability.

**What. Did. He. Do?** And seriously, why all the fucking mystery about it.
