OK Guys, its time to take a look at the Montreal Canadiens news of the day.. Justin Barron and Mitchell Stephens have both been assigned to the Laval Rocket, and Arber Xhekaj! One of my favourite players in the system right now has been recalled to the Habs lineup! I am PUMPED!

I wouldn't hate trying RHP as the 4th line center. The guy is definitely good enough defensively. My lineup for tomorrow (if Pearson is ready).

I'm really not sure who's the 7th defenceman. Maybe Harris could be the one scratched. I want Kovacevic in though, I think he's been healthy scratched too often recently and we need more than one right-handed D in the lineup with Barron going down.

Me and all my friends are so fuggin glad hes back. Other team players need be at least a bit intimidated from time to time when goin for that loose puck in the corner, those small mind games can change a lot in a player's confidence to move at ease. And someone to protect the goalie when theres chirping going around can boost a goalie's confidence.

Glad he's called back up, Mailloux could (should ?) be next. Other good news in this is Wawa stays with the Habs.
Low-key worried for Laval now, that push for the playoffs ain't finished at all, they're neck and neck with those nasty Belleville lads and the Marlies. I'm also curious to see if Houle will line up Barron with Mailloux, might have to reshuffle some pairings a bit more to balance things out.

Sending Arber to Laval was a great move. A little bit of humble pie never hurt anyone and look at how WiFi reacted….. He showed them that he has the ability to be a great leader in the locker room and one the ice.
Why is it that going down to help your younger brothers is like the death penalty?? As for Laval you can’t miss their key pick up in net with Kaz. 4-0 in his first 4 games. Good to see him back in the AHL again.
