This explains to me why Fitzy has not been wheeling and dealing and trying to ‘save’ the season, especially as the injuries continue to pile up. The team is still young overall and there’s no reason to go all in when the Hockey Gods are throwing everything they can at you this season. Keep pounding, get the young guys a season of experience and load up over the summer and try again next year.
Also, fuck those two idiots.
Or, maybe the team will start playing better on a more consistent basis now that is out there and starting to be over with? We can all hope anyway.
