This is not good news and all but confirms that Hart is involved. Fuck a duck.
If you watch carefully, it’s not good. Didn’t say it directly but his posture and demeanor and tone are such that it’s not good news.

I do not envy Danny right now. First year GM dealing with a diva in Gauthier and now a fucking loser gangrapist. If by some miracle Hart isnt involved in this it would be the biggest rug pull of all time. But this is very obviously not good.
But if this it then I support jersey burning. You could replace the nameplate with a future 79 but holding on to a Hart jersey wouldn’t sit well with me.
How much time do you think Briere has spent in the Gritty Rage Room over the past month? Can’t think of many GMs who have had a tougher first year due entirely to things outside their control.
Wonder if this situation stopped Hart from being traded last offseason because teams knew something could go wrong

Hate to say it but the writing has been on the wall for a year or so now. Hart has been slowly withdrawing from the team and his other creepy actions on social media don’t bode well for this outcome either. He’s already an ex-Flyer.

I loved Hart as a player. He gave me a lot of hope for the future, but if this is true… F*** that guy and I hope he never plays in a Flyers uniform again.
TL;DR: I hope it works out fairly and with justice for the victims, and that the perpetrators are dealt with in accordance with the law.
That said – if he didn’t do this, and is merely falling out to drop out of contact with the world while this plays out, then I hope it works out for him (and anyone else involved to whom this would apply).
And for those who are guilty – may whatever gods they believe in have mercy on their souls, because their fans – rightly so – sure as hell aren’t going to.
When I was a kid, all I wanted to do was play hockey. It was as important to me as joining the Army was – it was who I was. When it became obvious to me that I’d never play anything more than rec leagues, I was truly disappointed. These clowns are living my dream, and they chose to do this with it. Fuck ’em sideways with a HEMTT.

Normally I give people the benefit of the doubt, but just gave Chuggaconroy the benefit of the doubt also and it turns out I shouldn’t have so my mind isn’t in the place where I’m going to try and assume this is all a big coincidence.
