  1. I'll never know what an addict has to go through and I praise Jesus for the strength. My prayers go out to all those who suffer. Best wishes to Kevin!

  2. Wish you the best Kevin,as a fellow Massachusetts guy(Springfield)whose been down that road,I'm pulling for you.Once the demon gets you,it holds on tight….GOOD LUCK MY FRIEND……

  3. The devil had its meat hooks on Kevin. Thank God he was able to get sober and get his life back. 🙏🙏🙏

  4. I remember as a 15 year old kid watching warmups at northlands coliseum before the kings played the Oilers not knowing anything about drugs or alcohol and asking myself “what happened to Kevin Stevens”. He was so dominant as a Penguin and all of a sudden his game completely fell off. Makes sense now. Glad he’s doing good now!!

  5. everytime you talk with someone who is homeless or just poor and hurting they are always the BEST people you meet and many just need a doctor to check their mental health, where many just need some medications to help with their mental struggles, and most with mental struggles are just GOOD people who would help ANYONE they usually help everyone else but themselves. Please always give a hand to them, homeless folk once had everything like you do but lost it all due to outside stuff beyond their power

  6. Mario, kudos to you. I'm a red wing fan but i can see greatness and integrity which demands respect. What you did for Kevin is sensational. It shows you character as much as Kevin's. You have all of my respect. We saw this in Detroit with Probert and McCarty. They were given multiple chances as well and i have great respect for the GMs and friends that take a chance for a brother in arms. Well done Sir🙏

  7. I'm from Brockton mass..The oxycontin started flowing in our area by the Doctors .Life is hard, take a painkiller and life is easy until u try stopping..We didn't know how addictive they were..I have bad health problems now, they destroyed my liver..

  8. I never thought about this. The night that Artie references trying cocaine after the NYR game was the last game the Pens lost before going on the league record 17 game winning streak to end the season (before the tie in the season finale). He was such a beloved figure in Pittsburgh during the cup runs of the 1990s.

  9. Kevin Stevens – played exellent on LW in Mario's line, and I agree with Mario – Stevens be fantastic power forward on left wing, best in all NHL. And it be very painful when all this story with drugs began. I very happy to know what he is OK now, and in game again, working with young players. And thanks to Mario, man with great heart and patience, whom not turn away from friend whick be in trouble.
