I was such a big fan of carter hart always SEEMED to be a great guy too. The story of why he wears number 79 and all… i feel sick to my stomach. Although there were already signs pointing to this previously this seems incredibly damning.

Holy fuck YES! The drinking and sexual assault is an endemic issue on all levels of hockey. Glad to see something is being done to send a message to people involved in the sport that this isn’t okay. Next up we can deal with the rampant underage drinking among the peewee and bantam groups.

What a way to destroy your career, they had so much going for them, being on the best junior team in the country, having the talent to get into the NHL and make millions, and these aren’t exactly ugly guys either no reason they can’t get with women consensually. Hearing things like gang rape, they deserve whatever is coming their way if proven true.

I feel like since ME TOO, it’s become common place to question motives when women come forward with abuse allegations. Call me jaded but I’m happy and relieved to see that my fellow hockey fans believe that SA should be punished.
