I appreciate Mathews really putting Sammy and Robertson over and admitting that the team was bad tonight. This is the man who should be the captain of this team.

Matthews should be the Captain of this team. 2 or 3 years late on it to be honest. It’s mind boggling that Tavares still has the C. Even the way he goes to bat for Robertson n even deferring to him in the ice too shows how much he cares and believes in the kid. Keefe is too comfy and set in his ways and using Robertson as his whipping boy is a joke. The guy is a 50-60 point player with a regular shift.

We love Mitch, but I don't want to see him in a post-game interview. He needs to focus on who he is. Remember Phil and Dion back then? I want him to embrace the opportunity to highlight success and failure without anything.
