    Jets played really well, and had the better of the play. Without their top 3 players
    in Scheifele, Villardi and Morrissey, it's very hard to win. The Toronto goalie
    played really well, and so did the Jets goalie. Should be a great next game between
    these 2 clubs, this upcoming Saturday. Very entertaining tight game.

    Imagine missing 4 of your top 5 players in Scheifele, Hellebuyck, Vilardi and Morrissey, and then losing to the healthy Leafs in OT. Jets suck. 😂 Like if we were missing Matthews, Nylander and Marner and lost in OT to the healthy Jets i would be embarrassed.

    That 2 on 0 chance 4:08 had an element of horor to it as if a vulnerable victim was left alone, and 2 dangerous predators notice and move in for a kill

    Amazing game from Samsonov! He played with incredible ambition! 32 outstanding saves!! Matthews once again comes up big in overtime, by getting in perfect position directly in front of the net as Rielly made the perfect pass to him. Wonderful play!

    Samsonov was good but how about Morgan Reilly? Send his 1st period tape to the NHL and see if his All-Star can be rescinded. He was worse than David Desharnais tonight!

    If not for Sammy. The other leafs were yet again out played and hugely under motivated. And a short handed 2 on 1? How’d that happen? Really not good enough. Something has to change.

    Yess!!! Canada's National Embarrassment ekes one out!

    Will they make the playoffs?
    Will they miss them?
    Will they barely scrape by one series vs. a Cup contender only to blow it to an underperforming team in 4 straight in the next series?

    Too bad these highlights didn't have Robertson's steal out of mid air that led to the goal, great stuff from a prospect who was finally given a bit of a chance to show what he can do

    Like I said on another channel, the Jet's can't be taken seriously. I mean they lose games because they are not a PP threat, and you can take away pulling goalie when down late. Jet's can't score on PP, so why pull goalie? The Jet's are a good team for now, but which way are they going after the break? If jet's don't improve on PP, they won't go past second round at best. Let's see how they do entering the A.S break…"
