i hate the canes with a passion
Haven't beaten the Canes since 2019 it feels like
Third and fourth lines kinda weak. Would like to obtain a better player with some scoring talent before playoffs.
Buddy don’t you ever suggest selling off one of those goalies. You leave that tandem alone and keep them together as long as possible
After opening the season with fewer than 3 GA in 7 of his first 9 starts, Ullmark has now allowed 3 or more in 11 of his last 13 starts.

I was looking over at Moneypuck's stats and the Marchand-Coyle-Pastrnak and Marchand-Coyle-Frederic lines both had the same xGF in the same amount of ice time, although the 63-13-11 line had a higher xGA.
Not saying that should be taken as Gospel but if both those lines keep playing like that it's good to be able to rotate them when you need to. Sometimes it'll be more advantageous to play Pasta up there, other times Freddy. Options are great, especially when the playoffs come
I was stuck watching a national feed. Throughout the game all you heard was how great, wonderful and fantastic the Canes are. It was the Canes against some other team, whoever they were. I don't want to hear how Edwards is such a "homer" again.

Pasta is allergic to effort in some games where the puck isn’t going his way. The effort when our net empty was the the most desperate and concerted I’ve seen from this team so far this year and I expect that our 11 million dollar guy would reciprocate it when the whole team buys in. Come after me if you want but I want to see more from Pasta, it’s been the same story for years now & he’ll score 50+ goals a year but that doesn’t change the fact that he coasts way too much especially in a playoff-esque game like tonight. Zacha has also been concerning. Just my 2¢

Coyle – Frederic – Marchand makes sense to me.
The last thing I expected was Frederic to be in the top six regularly
Ullmark is starting to concern me.
We looked slow for a lot of the game. Pasta had a bad game. Our pp is better when DeBrusk is on it but he only gets 35 to 45 seconds. We pulled the goalie with over two minutes and we got Heinen and Geeke on at the same time. Oh well. Marchand is amazing. Love that top line. Freddie earned the chance to be there.
I hate the canes too!! It’s because they spent 3 years celebrating every single win like it was a peewee cup final.
Ghost of the Hartford Whalers strikes again. No doubt the Bs will be crushing everyone after the all-star break. Can't wait to see Marchand in a Beiber designed dorito bag jersey.

As a Canadian. I’m jealous that you were listening to NESN. I was stuck with Canes Coverage TNT. I had to turn the audio off during the first after our Powerplay BECAUSE THEY WOULD NOT SHUT UP ABOUT THE CANES AND THEIR MOTHERS.
I have no hatred of the Canes. I massively respect them. If I remember correctly, some 3 years ago. They shut us out 3 of 4 games during the regular season. We pushed for a game 6 or 7 in the Playoffs.
As much as I’d love to win all the games. Very unrealistic. As, we do have a fair amount of youth on the team. We will certainly have our highs and lows. Let’s just hope we show up tomorrow night.
Sad thing about Forbort. He is a GOD on the Penalty Kill. His problem? If he misses a couple games. He loses EVERYTHING. It will take him around 10 games to regain his form. I hate it, because I know he is the backbone of our Defense. Lindholm is great, Carlo is better, McAvoy is even better.
I’m irritated by the mixing of the lines and scratching as we do. It’s great if we have a complete answer to the opponent. Jets are DEFENSE. Laid back, but quick on the draw. So, we matched them. Canes? SPEED IS KEY! Get close. Don’t let them breathe. What do we do? Let them breathe. Avs? Give MacKinnon space and watch him fly. What did we do? Hold the puck.
Some teams I swear that we don’t know enough about, which causes them to overpower us.

Has anyone else noticed that as a team Bruins seem to have a hard time connecting and finding a rhythm a lot passing and finishing plays? It’s crazy because they win games regardless, find ways often unconventional it seems with strength as well.. but their should be a 6th sense developed among players over time with passing game
What about an official low qual T-shirt or jersey?

Idk man. I hate the Canes…too 3 teams I despise right now. FLA, CAR, & TOR. Maybe you’ve gone soft on them because you live there.
This game though…Ullmark looked to be fighting it all game. He hasn’t looked comfortable in net since returning from injury, which leads me to believe he’s not 100 percent yet. Idk, he didn’t look good to me. The Canes beat him cleanly a couple mores times, but he got bailed out by the post…2-3 times.
