Bro holy crap🤯 I had. No idea this was even going on. Like u said full context and facts and evidence and there day in court. But if this is true….what a blow to the sport of hockey. I had pictures in my head when u said an unconscious women and 5 guys assaulted her. How and the hell did not 1 of those men feel the need to protect. As a man I always have that mentality in my head. Some feminists may not like it but u can go jump in a lake because I was raised the right way and taught to treat woman with utmost respect and to be chivalrous. And if this is true….that poor woman. Men don't do this stuff….sick demented twisted Fu**s do this. Hopefully it was consensual and the boys are innocent and there's proof 🙏 I would like to see this all play out in court first because since the metoo movement there has been tons of sick women trying to take advantage of wealthy good men
Whoever is charged is “Innocent until proven guilty” in courtroom, not the “Court of public opinion”.
When the trial(s) verdicts of guilt or not come out then let the cards fall where they may.
Having said that, once these players return to Canada, they may encounter issues trying to cross borders to other countries, including the United States.
While innocent until proven guilty is true for courts, it may not be treated that way at a border crossing. That will be interesting to see what happens in the coming days as well.

The league is more business than community. This sucks for the professional athletes who are actually PROFESSIONAL. it's very disappointing that basically nobody in the sports world has been covering this stuff other than Rick Westhead. his journalism about these sorts of things has been great, but we need more than one person on these issues. he also covered the ex-player who had had many concussions and was homeless and the Blackhawks sexual abuse case.

Thank you for covering this. It can be a difficult and sensitive topic to cover so I think many try to shy away from it. What I really do not want to see in hockey, is someone like Deshaun Watson being able to continue to play, while there is irrefutable evidence that he committed those crimes. Sad to see one of my favorite players "step away".

Obviously the video shows no wrongdoing, hence why there are no arrest warrants. Sounds like the girl just regrets being part of a gangbang. Personally seen false accusations of sexual assault so its hard for me to just believe whats said.
As a Londoner it feels worse that it happened here, The fact they haven’t done FUCK ALL about it shows how fucked up things are. – Channels like this one ruined Patrick Kane's name due to allegations that proved to be false dragging his name in the dirt and the lady didn't have her name released/no charges laid. She got off scott free. The lady was proven to seek him out at a bar and got him to bring her home.
