Edmonton is really getting scary. Pickard was money again. D played solid. Team is doing exactly what they need to do to win regular season hockey games right now. I hope they can turn it up a notch down the stretch and really become the contender they should be on paper.

We may not be scoring a ton of goals, but they boys are continuing to play outstanding defensive hockey and it's paying off. That 2-0 lead felt like much more due to both that and Pickard's excellent goaltending. Congrats to him on the shutout, and congratulation to the Oilers on stretching the streak to 15 games!! Hopefully it will reach 16 on Perry's Oilers debut. Let's go Oilers!!!
