This is not meant to be insensitive, I am a huge supporter of justice, just putting that out there before I speak. I cannot help But to feel like somehow, this is political from a Canadian government. How is it so many years later.. Also, to Nick’s point the burden of proof needs to be very high for something like this because for all, we know, this could have been consensual and then regretted later.
I guess the point I am trying to make is I really hope they do not ruin these players lives without any evidence. On that same note, if there is substantial evidence, making this a clear case, I do hope that they get the corresponding penalties associated.
Nick, hockey players are the lowest paid of all professional sports. These guys work their tails off to make it into the league, I don’t agree with it being a white privilege/bro code sport. Maybe way back in the day, but so was everything else, Which is just part of our countries history
