I’m an hypocrite because I’m mostly on the left side, but yesterday I was at the game and was 100% on the right side freaking out at some of the save Montembeault did lol.

That part of rebuilding, where the team is between the worst teams and the teams who makes the playoffs, is always awkward but it’s a necessary one for a team that wants to progress. Yes, those wins are pretty much meaningless, but Montembeault has become a legitimate #1, which is a huge problem solved.

Whenever I see people get mad at Monty for being good, I think of all the teams that are a good goalie away from reaching that next level. I’ll only be mad if this is unsustainable from him. So far we have no reason to assume it isn’t.
