He’s got a lower save percentage than Raanta and people are freaking about having father Finn on the team.

This would really come down to what we give up to get him. If we’re giving up nothing of note, I’m totally good with it. The locker room presence alone would be a huge boost, he’s got to be the most well liked player in the entire league, and he’d have volumes to teach Kotchetkov. On top of that, you get a good enough back up goalie with plenty of playoff and Cup experience.

In my opinion it’s not a question of whether we’d want him. Everyone should want him. The question is, would the trade be worth it.

    Picks and future considerations? 100%

Prospects like Pono or Morrow? Not a chance.

Doubt he’s the answer but I also doubt he’d cost much. He’s an .897 this season, albeit on a pretty shit team (sorry Wild).

As a Pens fan, if y’all get MAF, please win a cup

  5. Is this why Kochetkov has been kept on IR?! Just so we can make roster moves….Hot take, but I would rather have Kooch back than Flowers

We obviously know he can perform in the playoffs. I’d love to see him in a Canes sweater, he’s probably my favorite non-Canes player in the league right now. Hell, the veteran mentorship he could give Kooch alone might be worth a draft pick.

I think we won’t look at him for another week or 2. I’d except Martin to be given a couple more games, like MAF he was behind a crappy defense before but doesn’t have the same resume as flower
