Wish karlsson will go he's not good
Herd jake is wanted by so many teams..id trade him now so we can get good for him,,drop smith,trade rust..bring up some other guys,baby pens..
Love Marcus. You definitely don't move him until Sid calls it quits and we hit FULL rebuild. I hate the thought of trading Jake, but we can't lose him for nothing.
Why would we trade Jake?
The dragon must stay on the roster. He is great a playing defense which no one else on the roster is. We need more of him not less. I would trade rust either. If jake goes crosby should have an "old reliable" winger on his line.
I hope we use carters money to resign jake because that first line of jake-sid – rust is one of the best in the league. But im a long island boy and seeing how the isles lost tavares for nothing and how it hurt the team and fans, i dont want that situation for the pens. So if you have a strong scense you can't get him resigned you have to get something for him not just his cap hit.
Here’s my opinion, take it with a grain of salt. In a perfect world for me:
1. Karlson gone and replace him with a stay at home defender.
2. Jake stays and find a way to re sign him.
3. Trade p.o. Joseph… his time is up.
4. Id also try to move rakell, I’d be more willing to be patient with smith, but rakell hasn’t ever feel lived up to his potential here.
Chicago really missed Hjalmarsson when they moved him, the same would apply to MP and the Pens.
