I always thought he was extremely overrated. He always carried himself like he was so good I never really followed him cuz I’ve started watching European football more and more over the past 10 years and I’m a Leaf fan but I always assumed it was because he was good defensively that he was rated highly but now I realize it was all exaggerated by him

I think for the amount of money it’s a bust , but when I herd about the signing I was happy they got some more offense, I was worried about the goalie situation and right now there only all star can’t stop a beach ball.
This guy is an over rated bust who thinks he is the second coming of Mario Lemieux. His career totals are subpar for his draft position, salary and his own belief in himself. He has forced his way out of two teams and the teams he is on suffer when he is in the lineup. He is the definition of a locker room cancer.
Mehhhh….this is like the Edmonton Oilers a month into the season…we all knew sooner or later they'd start playing better….Maybe not even this year but PLD will start playing again. This coming from a Jets fan…who doesn't really like him anyways.

As an Oiler fan I rejoiced at this trade. The King is one go, removed oodles of depth and brought in a quitter. That trade is something you offer Chicago to bring in Bedard.
