Eh, that game wasn’t a total disaster (outside of special teams). That game could have gone so much worse.

  2. HomegrownStatistics

Most offensively creative game of the season, but they still can’t find the back of the net.

Edmonton’s mascot looks like an aborted Halloween costume.

We need to get a shooter on this team. When we put 30 shots on net, and not even our star players can score, that’s a problem. Especially when someone like Forsberg has 9 of those chances alone and can’t capitalize.

Confirmed, Drysighdull is still the Preds’ pops.

I think this team needs to have a bonding day by going to a rage room and getting the frustration out.

Also, I hope Edmonton comes back from the All Star break and goes on an equally long losing streak.

Other than coaching, I really don’t feel better about this team than the last few seasons.

The franchise is just running on a treadmill. Bunch of players that work hard but, lacks any real game breakers.

  8. Well, I’m actually proud of the way they played and I thought we deserved better. We were never going to end their streak though. Not sure if there’s a universe out there where that would happen lol. We just don’t really have any elite scorers besides Fil, and that lack of finishing is what’s costing us right now, and has for a long while.

To be fair to this Preds team though, it seems like everyone is in a slump. It’s certainly not for a lack of trying, but I don’t think that sentiment ever makes anyone feel better about their team. Maybe eventually when I’m in my 40s, the Preds will finally have elite that scoring capability.

The all star break can’t come soon enough. Hopefully that helps us reset.

  10. If they played the first two periods the way they played the third, would’ve been a totally different game.

What is Nashville’s record against Edmonton since Pekka retired? We used to have their number, but I just assume any game against them is a loss these days.

We played well tonight, but just couldn’t find the back of the net. Glass was an absolute monster out there! Hockey gods must hate our sorry asses, because we had that game in our hand!

Those three posts would have helped if they went in
