Markov was such a great player. He’s really the first Habs prospect I followed, and I remember Hockeys Future gave him a 9 rating, which was unheard of! I remember sitting in a crappy office in Brasil following his stats in the AHL. I think Vladimir Malakhov was still playing, who made talented Russians look bad! He deserved better
