All the blame will be put on Todd but it’s not entirely his fault…he made the team click at the start of the year. Rob needs to take some of the blame too because he’s the guy who oversees things and has yet to speak to the fans regarding this whole mess. It’s not just an individual player, it’s a group attitude that needs to change.
The “PLD effect” has now taken over the team. The guy is either lazy and/or has no heart. The long-term bloated PLD contract is beyond ridiculous, and someone has to be accountable for such an egregious error. FIRE GM ROB BLAKE NOW!
What kills me about the PLD trade is that before all that the Kings were ahead of schedule in regards to making the playoffs, and I think Villardi and Iafallo had a big part in doing that. The Kings team that won the cup didn't get it done until the 3rd time they met the Canucks in the playoffs. Before that it was completely one sided. Blake signing Cal Peterson who didn't earn a spot was bad foresight. Blake essentially traded FOUR PLAYERS FOR ONE GUY and gave him an unearned hefty contract while still knowing the risks. PLD has a ton of potential, but Blake shouldn't throw this money at them until they can prove that not only do they want to be here but they hate losing and want to win, the competitive spirit so to speak.

KOPI needs to step up and call out the guys who are playing selfish or Blake needs to trade these players
