    Not up there with price and lundqvist, but I would have loved to have seen pekka rinne win the cup.

    I’m biased but Pekka Rinne. I almost wish he would’ve gone ring chasing the last few years when it was obvious we weren’t going to be able to help him win it

    Some goalies are so fucking good they trick the managment into thinking their team is above average when they could easily be a below average team with un real goaltending.

    This could be a spicy take, but Jimmy Howard, in his prime, could have won the Cup. He was solid for a long stretch on a declining team. If he hadn’t committed to Detroit, he could’ve gotten the job done.

    80 points isn’t what it used to be, though. Lots of guys are a point per game now, compared to Price’s era, even though it’s not that long ago.

    When it became clear Montreal would never be a contender again for the rest of prices career I actually hoped for him to be traded to a contender to try and get him a cup. We had a couple good runs but many years where Carey was wasted greatness.

    I’m a Flyers guy and I think Henrik Lundqvist is above all. He was an unreal talent.

    In homer mode, I wish Ron Hextall had won one as a player.

    Roberto Luongo. At his peak he was phenomenal. And even though I’m a Canucks fan, I’m saying that as a hockey fan!
