Ranger fans separate themselves from other New York fan bases by being pretty supportive and optimistic for the most part and like Phish fans, follow their guys all over. It was one of those rare moments at when the Ranger fans in Ottawa starting grumbling as the Rangers fell behind early. Luckily the team responded and unloaded on a rebuilding Ottawa team. However any Ranger fan will tell you; Brady Tkachuk’s goal 🥅 1-0 lead continues to show Rangers have a Chronic problem with Physical forwards: Tom Wilson, Brady and Matthew Tkachuk, S. Aho & Carolina forwards…and more disturbing they don’t have an answer the other way. Rangers are a terrific north-south skating team. Clog the lanes, no one is strong enough to power their way to the net.

Went to Coyotes @ Canes. Got my zamboni popcorn holder, it's pretty sweet. Anyway, tough deal for Raanta on that first goal. Then we tie it up and I was feeling better…THEN NOTHING till that last minute where we get two goals in the last 36. I thought for sure this was going to OT before we got goal #2-

I sat on that thought the whole game… Took a cool shot of Orlov getting the 1st star with the 1 on the ice and then him raising his hand to the crowd. Good week to end before AllStar break.One has to wonder what Columbus' record is after 2 periods for this season? Certainly over .500…Watched the Detroit-Vegas game, and got surprised. Lyon is for real…Ingram looked like he was shooting quail after that 3rd Carolina goal… 😃 …Funny to watch, but I felt sick for the guy – he played well, and kept them in it until the final 180 seconds of the game…I can't imagine what it's like in the Islanders' locker room now with Patrick Roy in there. The Nylander thing was ridiculous but I’ve definitely seen “just push a guy into your own net if you don’t want a goal to count” before. I was even at MSG in 2012 for the game that produced Al Trautwig’s finest moment in television (https://youtu.be/ZoWUVfKAprc?si=Xv5LxI0S6HIaJ-mV ). The Devils had led most of the game 1-0 and in the final minute Volchenkov shoved Marian Gaborik into Marty just as the tying goal went in, and it ended up getting disallowed. So it’s got at least 12 years of precedent behind it, no matter how stupid.

As a Devs fan, I genuinely feel a bit checked out of the season. They just don’t have effort right now and Nico said it best “I’m Embarrassed”.
As a Canuck fan, I understand it should have been a major on Myers. Errant elbow that draws blood. Not sure it should have been a match penalty. I really don't think it was on purpose, just careless.
What I REALLY don't like, and find pretty suspicious, is that they were reviewing a penalty on Cole when they realized they missed the penalty on Myers and decided to call that instead. Super sketchy, and raises a lot of question about the integrity of the refs. I thought they weren't allowed to call additional penalties when reviewing.

More then the wins that have been coming for the Wings is the consistency I see. They are playing so much more consistently. Also, there is no denying the confidence boost Lyon's goaltending has on the team. He's been outstanding.

Wild playing 7 D-men last night was a shit show, Merrill and Goligoski are such a big liability, every defensive pairing was full of miscommunication it made no sense. I think Hynes is trying to softly Tank… and I'm all for it. Wild need to write this year off and focus on the future.

Ha ha ha, I got bummed out and closed my eyes after the second period to wake up after midnight seeing Boesers interview and talking about the win and his hat trick and four points. Then I was bummed out and happy at the same time.Missed the good part of the game, but we won.
from a coyotes fan , carolina definitely a cup contender , final score of 3-1 victory over coyotes doesn't tell the story ,, but you do as usual shannon 1-1 with 38 seconds left in game , coyotes turnover in own zone , carolina scores twice to win ,but how do the coyotes not have a shot on goal in entire 3rd period while carolina has 18 S.O.G.,never seen that before , final s.o.g. = carolina 34- 14 , coyotes goalie connor ingram stands tall ,but last minute giveaway kills his great effort ..
The Canes don't have the luxury of allowing shots because we have no room for error. This team with an actual good goalie would tapdance into the SCF.
