Brendan Gallagher was issued a match penalty for this illegal check to the head of Adam Pelech. Surely this isn’t a case of if he’s suspended, but for how long? Have your say!

Had this happened in the SHL, I think this would have been punished with a 5 game suspension. As the SHL has a 52 game season, the appropriate suspension in the NHL should be 8 games.

Should be suspended for 1.5 times as many games as Pelech misses or 25 games, whichever is higher. Frankly, he deserves to be charged with assault.
