I was at the Leafs / Canes game on Dec 30th. We lost, but Robertson gave us something to be amped about anyway. He shot that puck so hard the recoil kicked Kochetkov’s glove back behind the goal line. I love seeing him drop to the one knee firing stance on those .50 caliber bullets he fires.

I have to admit….Ive been a Robertson’s detractor for a while. Saying he wasn’t gonna make an impact and he wasn’t going to be what everyone hyped him to be.
While I stand by the “won’t meet the original hype” part, he’s absolutely been progressing really well this season.
Two years ago he had this hunched over, strange skating style, now he’s more upright and using his head. And his patience has SIGNIFICANTLY improved.
Happy to say it appears he’s on the on-ramp to proving me wrong.
