In order to win a STANLEY CUP defence is critical. Does anyone out there believe that the Leafs defence is good enough? Reilly is playing great, but is he a number one stud D-man like Hedman was when the Lightning were winning cups? When McKinnon was asked how Arizona won the Cup, he said it was because they had Makar. Check out the Vegas defence. My point is made. And what if Reilly is injured? Also, teams will target him physically as much as they can, and it has been a tactic for teams to direct the puck to the stud just so they can hit him.
I want to see the Leafs win the Stanley Cup one more time before I die, but I dont think it is this year. Hey, I hope I'm wrong!
