This is a step-back year. Once Siegs went down, along with Dougie, that just left us with Marino, Bahl, and all the rest rookies. Not a good recipe for winning games. Add no Jack or Palat or Meier or Hischier all missing stretches, and league worst goaltending, and you have a team struggling to make the playoffs. It's amazing they are still in the hunt, actually. Fitz and Ruff need to fix the team defense or they will miss the playoffs. Nemec is better than Dougie defensively, and Luke is starting to limit his giveaways and is looking stronger defensively. They should pair Luke and Nemec and keep them together for the next 15 years.
