If Cmac goes after Monahan he should be fired on the phone call to montreal.

I’ve been rooting for Henrique or Middlestat from a “vibes” perspective only, but looking at the JFresh stats and cap hits I think the data backs them up as the best option.
As much as I’d love Lindholm the price might be too high given all the competition for him.

I feel like we should prioritize back up goalie first, and then check out the C market.

Fleury. That way we can get Flower and Parise the cup the Mild couldn’t 😎

There was a comment from Sakic a while ago about how much he “regrets” (maybe the wrong word) the 96-01 squad not winning more rings back in the day, and how he’s willing to do whatever to not waste this core’s prime.
I think last year was a major “get right” year because so many players were injured from the cup run. It’s why they for the most part held off going all in. Although we don’t have Landy right now, I can see this front office doing something special at the deadline. I don’t think they’ll do something stupid, but this is the window, this is the core’s prime, go all in this year.
Parise was a big signing imo. This front office has done miraculous things before, if they somehow pull a 2c and solid backup goalie…. I’ll straight up cum.
And one last thing… Bo is never healthy. He hasn’t put up the numbers expected, and hasn’t become (YET) what we all hoped. The ceiling is about as high as it’ll get right now for a return on a trade. With Malinski stepping up, I’m kind of in the camp of seeing what we can get from him. And it hurts me to say that as well. What would you guys do with him?

Maybe the Kings will be Sellers at the deadline for how far they have fallen.

Zegras, half retained for a bag of pucks. Maybe even throw in some first round playoff tickets

I’d love to see MIddlestat come over, but I think he’s right about that being a summer deal. Curious what it would cost, since the Sabres actually have really solid D – they’re one of the few teams that might not jump at a Bo or G.
